Dr. Jonathan Krichev

Dr. Krichev grew up in Guntersville and got his BA in Psychology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. There, he was a four year varsity swimmer and captain of the team. He returned to Alabama for Medical School at UAB and finished his training in Family Medicine at the UAB-Huntsville Family Practice Residency Program, where he was Chief Resident and Residency President of the Alabama Academy of Family Physicians. He has a strong interest in sports medicine, especially as it relates to swimmers, cyclists, and runners. He has training in biomechanical analysis for runners and cyclists, and is himself a competitive triathlete and runner, having completed the Ironman distance.

 

Dr. Alicia Krichev

Dr. Krichev graduated from Palm Bay High School in central Florida and then went on to Emory University to play volleyball and basketball. She was captain of both teams, and competed as well as part of the track and field team. While at Emory, she was named NCAA Woman of the Year for the state, as well as Division III Scholar-Athlete of the Year. She is now a member of the Emory sports Hall of Fame. She, too, relocated to Alabama for medical school and then to the Huntsville program for residency training. She has a special interest in the female athlete. She remains active in her college sports as a children's coach and recreational player. In addition, she is a competitive triathlete and runner, also having competed at the Ironman distance.

Dr. Amy Carter

Dr. Carter graduated from Randolph High School here in Huntsville and also went on to Emory University to play both basketball and soccer, acting as captain of each team and reaching All-American status during her time in Georgia. She, too, came back home for medical school and residency at UAB. Following residency, she completed a fellowship in sports medicine, and has a special interest in the non-operative treatment of acute and chronic sports injuries, as well as an interest in female athletes. She is an active ultimate frisbee player and runner, having competed at the marathon level. She has been inducted to both the Emory Sports Hall of Fame and the Madison County Sports Hall of Fame.

 

Allison Perry

Allison Perry is Director of Marketing and Wellness for the EMSCULPT NEO and EMSELLA programs. She received her M.S. and B.A.C. from the University of Alabama. She runs recreationally and enjoys the company of her dog, Hazel.
